I offer a full range of classes and programmes suitable for students and teachers of all levels and abilities.

IN THE STUDIO

I offer either Private or Duo classes - you’ll use a combination of mat exercises and professional Pilates equipment in a 55 minutes session. For a Private session there’s an option to
take a 30 minute class if that’s necessary.

ONLINE

If you prefer to exercise in the privacy or your home, alone or with a friend I offer online classes using Zoom. All you’ll need is a mat or something supportive to lay on. If you have any exercise equipment available we can use that too - but it’s not necessary.

PILATES - THE METHOD

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s Pilates pronounced Puh - la - tees is the perfect exercise programme to work your body as well as your mind. The programme is a combination of strength, mobility, stability and balance interwoven into a series of exercises to challenge you at the same time relax and de-stress. You need to experience it to fully appreciate the benefits.
New to Pilates? - that’s OK. Not been active for a while? - that’s good too. Sporty, fit and very active? You’re welcome - Pilates isn’t just about stretching if it’s good enough for professional athletes it’s good enough for us. Whether you want to improve your mobility or enhance your existing levels of fitness I have a programme for you. The added bonus with Pilates when you’re sporty is the benefit of neutralising any potential overuse problems from your sport of choice.

Improve your swing or serve, with improved mobility, stability and core strength any potential risk for after game pain will be reduced - even eradicated. No more pre or post game painkillers!

PREGNANT?

No need to worry - research proves remaining active during pregnancy is a positive. The Pilates technique will allow you to maintain best posture as your pregnancy progresses by reducing the amount of change to your centre of gravity - so the possibility of low back pain will be reduced. Modifications to the exercises as your pregnancy develops through the trimesters will help you to remain active throughout your pregnancy.
